Carry each other"s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Women of Worship is a group of men and women with a desire to express love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hunger for God's word, support one another in prayer and desire a closer relationship with Him.

Heather and I feel that God has put a genuine desire in our hearts to share His word with people. This blog is our attempt to get the Word of God to our friends in a practical and loving way. We are hoping to create a community of people that strengthen one another for the Kingdom of God. No matter where you are in your walk you are welcome here. Please feel free to share prayer requests, opinions, questions or anything that you feel led to say.

Opposition

It is important, if you are a believer that you be prepared for opposition. If you are living your life renewed by the blood of Jesus, you have an enemy. Yes, you have blessings and a life abundant, you even have eternal life. I am sorry to say this.....there is a BUT.....but you will live a life with struggles, sadness, mourning, grief and persecution. As long as we are still separate from our Father we still have to deal with the one that rules this world.

Nehemiah had armies that hated what he was doing.....Armies!!
Nehemiah 4:14 After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, "Don't be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes."

It is one thing to set out on a journey/ministry you felt led into. But, "don't be afraid", There will be opposition, you have the creator of the Universe on your side. There will be battles and wars and yet we know He has overcome the World. Arm yourself with the promises of God, know who fights with and for you. Be prepared to lean on the One who has brought you to this, he will bring your through it.

Please feel free to share any prayer requests to be added to tomorrows devotional
