Women of Worship is a group of men and women with a desire to express love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hunger for God's word, support one another in prayer and desire a closer relationship with Him.

Heather and I feel that God has put a genuine desire in our hearts to share His word with people. This blog is our attempt to get the Word of God to our friends in a practical and loving way. We are hoping to create a community of people that strengthen one another for the Kingdom of God. No matter where you are in your walk you are welcome here. Yearn, Day 2

There are times in our very American lives that we forget what it means to rely on God. We don't always understand what it means to be desperate in our desires towards Him. It is all too easy to be complacent, too easy to go through the motions and do the steps and completely miss the relationship that God desires to have with us.

Lord i want to yearn for You
i want to burn with passion
over You and only You
Lord i want to yearn



I love this song because it reminds me to call out for the desire to have a longing for God. Maybe it doesn't come as a natural part of me to yearn for a relationship with God but I know I want it, my soul pleads for it.
