Carry each other"s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Women of Worship is a group of men and women with a desire to express love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hunger for God's word, support one another in prayer and desire a closer relationship with Him.

Heather and I feel that God has put a genuine desire in our hearts to share His word with people. This blog is our attempt to get the Word of God to our friends in a practical and loving way. We are hoping to create a community of people that strengthen one another for the Kingdom of God. No matter where you are in your walk you are welcome here. Please feel free to share prayer requests, opinions, questions or anything that you feel led to say.

Possibilities

I am sure at some point this week you ran into an impossible task. Something that you could not accomplish on your own.

Luke 18:26Those who heard this asked, "Who then can be saved?"

27Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."

This life is full of impossible moments but we worship a possible God. The Creator of the Universe wants to save you. He sacrificed His son so he could have a relationship with you. He desires for you to live a life marked with the possibilities that come from Him.

I tend to be a person held back by personal fear and inadequate notions. My pastor once said to make plans with the idea that they will only succeed if God intervenes. As I learn to take a steps in faith, He does take care of the rest. I can tell you from experience that the things that weren't really God ideas to begin with tend to fail. Letting God get involved makes impossible; possible. It makes a quite girl from Salem, Oregon ready to do things that only God saw as potential.

If you are in a place, facing impossible challenges, let God be your savior. He is bigger than anything in this life and He desires to be with you and to see you through it. I think, sometimes, we are given more than we can handle so that we learn to trust God and the plan He has for us.

Please email us at womenofworship1@gmail.com if you would like to share your prayers or praise to be posted on tomorrows devotional.

> It reminded me of this last summer. How I thought I had it all handled. I had it planned out in May. That was a big mistake as God led us through the here and now and not the planned and perfect. What an amazing testimony it is though to the ones I love the most, my family. The girls learned that things don't always go our way, not even when we are adults. they learned to put family before plans and that we can get really sick when we don't take care of ourselves. They also learned that God answers prayers for BIG home improvements in ways we don't always think of (faulty appliances, floods, etc...). He answers us with a definite yes, no or maybe later, that is for sure. The girls also learned to spend the time they have with family when they have it. They also learned that when they love people a whole bunch, it is really hard when they leave and live far away, but that God is with them at all times and he can comfort them when they are sad. They also learned that even though we are away from those we love, we can pray for them.
