Carry each other"s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Women of Worship is a group of men and women with a desire to express love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hunger for God's word, support one another in prayer and desire a closer relationship with Him.

Heather and I feel that God has put a genuine desire in our hearts to share His word with people. This blog is our attempt to get the Word of God to our friends in a practical and loving way. We are hoping to create a community of people that strengthen one another for the Kingdom of God. No matter where you are in your walk you are welcome here. Please feel free to share prayer requests, opinions, questions or anything that you feel led to say.

Share the Love

Share the Love
by Heather Collver

How much love do you have? Can we really measure our love? Is there only so much and then we are empty? That may seem the case at times, but God is love and the more of him that you have in your life, the more you will overflow with his love.

I remember when I was pregnant with my second child. I wondered if I could ever love her the same as my first. I was almost worried over the matter. The moment I saw her, I knew there was enough room in my heart for both of them. Isn't it funny how we sometimes fret over things that end up working itself out later on?

Today I am praying that we all find time to extend our heartstrings to those who need it most. Call someone we have put off calling, say something kind to a stranger, smile at someone who needs to feel they are welcome in this world. I don't know what it is you should do today to extend a bit of the love that God desires the world to know. I pray that we will all be a bit more excited today, a little more challenged to give this free gift of love to someone else.

Lord, thank you for being our Father, teach us how to love others and help us to be sensitive to their needs. I pray that we will always be willing to extend your love to others and receive it when it is given. Help us to be the reflection that fits you, that reveals your love and grace. Help us to give hope to the weary.

Please continue to pray for JoAnne A. this week.

Please send in your prayer and praises for this week, I would love to share the praises and pray for your needs.
