Proverbs 10:5I am starting to think that Solomon was a pretty smart man. In the last five days he has reminded me of my own character and how it reflects on my family. He also tells of the importance of wisdom and hard work. These principles seem simple enough.
He who gathers crops in summer is a wise son,
but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.
Why do you think the world puts so little importance on our character? What ever happened to integrity, timeliness, and wisdom? I find it bewildering when I think how intelligent we are as a society and yet put very little importance on who we are as people.
Heavenly Father~ Thank you for the opportunity to explore your word. I thank you for the challenges and the self examination the Proverbs bring to my life. I thank you for the many blessings that are abundant in my life. I pray for your guidance and wisdom in all I do in this life. ~In Your Precious Name.
I hope you enjoy this worship song, it is one of my new favorites....
