It is hard to give up. It is hard to admit weakness. It is hard to be wrong. It is hard to not be in control of the situation. It is hard to give up on ideas we have held on to. It is hard to admit fault. It is hard to stop fighting. It is hard to stop. It is hard to change. It is hard to say I need God.
Where is the easy button? I only know of one thing that makes surrendering easier and that is fellowship. Good old fashion friendship. It is vital that as Christians we surround ourselves with other believers. Allowing people into our lives that keep us accountable to the things we value should be held as a top priority in your life. These same people, that together choose to surrender to the Creator and do all things with His purpose and plan as the goal become the Body of Christ.
Matthew 18:18-20 (msg) "Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is
yes in heaven; a no on earth is no in heaven. What you say to one another is
eternal. I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth
and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or
three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I'll be there."
Carry each other"s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
Women of Worship is a group of men and women with a desire to express love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hunger for God's word, support one another in prayer and desire a closer relationship with Him.
Heather and I feel that God has put a genuine desire in our hearts to share His word with people. This blog is our attempt to get the Word of God to our friends in a practical and loving way. We are hoping to create a community of people that strengthen one another for the Kingdom of God. No matter where you are in your walk you are welcome here. Please feel free to share prayer requests, opinions, questions or anything that you feel led to say.
