Women of Worship: Surrender, Day 1

Carry each other"s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Women of Worship is a group of men and women with a desire to express love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hunger for God's word, support one another in prayer and desire a closer relationship with Him.

Heather and I feel that God has put a genuine desire in our hearts to share His word with people. This blog is our attempt to get the Word of God to our friends in a practical and loving way. We are hoping to create a community of people that strengthen one another for the Kingdom of God. No matter where you are in your walk you are welcome here. Please feel free to share prayer requests, opinions, questions or anything that you feel led to say.

Surrender, Day 1

My heart is heavy with thoughts of all of you who are struggling today. There is no doubt that things are tough right now and will continue to be that way for a while. My prayers are with all of you today.

With all of you that pray for healing, I pray with you.
With all of you that pray for provision, I pray with you.
With all of you that pray for food and drink, I pray with you.
With all of you that pray for love, I pray with you.

For all of you today, I pray you find a way to surrender all that you have and all that you are to our Lord and Savior. Please take a few moments to Worship the only one that is truly worthy of all of you.

Heavenly Father~ Blessed Savior~I come to you with reverence today. You have put such a heavy word on my heart and I truly feel unworthy to express all that You have shown me. In a world that pushes you farther and farther away, making us dependant on things that will fail us, it is hard to fully understand how to give up on the things around us. Lord, How do I give up on this life in order to embrace your promises? Lord, How do I surrender all that I am to you? Isn't giving up being weak? Guide me through your Word this week Lord. Let me be your vessel once again to show these amazing people the promises you hold for us.~In Your Precious, Holy Name
