Carry each other"s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Women of Worship is a group of men and women with a desire to express love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hunger for God's word, support one another in prayer and desire a closer relationship with Him.

Heather and I feel that God has put a genuine desire in our hearts to share His word with people. This blog is our attempt to get the Word of God to our friends in a practical and loving way. We are hoping to create a community of people that strengthen one another for the Kingdom of God. No matter where you are in your walk you are welcome here. Please feel free to share prayer requests, opinions, questions or anything that you feel led to say.

The o's of God, Day 4

The O's of God, Day 4

Does anyone have an excuse for not believing in God? The Bible says no. God has revealed what he is like in and through his creation. Every person either accepts or rejects God. Don't be fooled. When the day comes for God to judge your response to him, no excuses will be accepted. Begin today to give your devotion and worship to him.

Paul tells us that God revealed himself plainly in all creation to all people. People reject even this basic knowledge of God. All people have an inner sense of what God requires, but they choose not to live up to it. People's moral standards are always better that their behavior. When people suppress God's truth to live their own way, they have no excuse. They know the truth, they will have to deal with the consequences of ignoring it.

Just because we all have a basic knowledge of God, does not mean that we don't need others to help us come to know God. It is our duty to share God with others so that this knowledge can be turned into a relationship. It can be fleshed out.

Here are some basic questions:

Do you believe God created the heavens and earth?

Do you believe we were created to obey God?

Do you believe we will be held responsible for our thoughts and actions?

Does God force us to obey Him, or does he want us to come to Him freely?

Do you believe God is everywhere?

Do you believe He knows our thoughts before and while we think them?

Do you live each day as if God is physically present in your life?

Do you make an effort to control your tongue?

What life giving words can you say to sustain others?

Do you believe we NEED knowledge and wisdom?

Where should we go to find knowledge and wisdom?

Does anything surprise God?

Does He already know everything?

Can we hide from God?

Dear Lord,
I pray that you will reveal yourself to us daily, that we will come to you because we want to and that our obedience will be a form of worship to you. Lord I pray that we will please you with our thoughts and actions. That we can bring others to the knowledge and relationship of you so that they can share in your abiding Joy.

Please continue to pray for Kathy L. this week. Tomorrow is Praise and Prayer Friday. Take a quick moment to send us your praise and prayer thoughts. Thanks. womenofworship1@gmail.com
