Carry each other"s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Women of Worship is a group of men and women with a desire to express love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hunger for God's word, support one another in prayer and desire a closer relationship with Him.

Heather and I feel that God has put a genuine desire in our hearts to share His word with people. This blog is our attempt to get the Word of God to our friends in a practical and loving way. We are hoping to create a community of people that strengthen one another for the Kingdom of God. No matter where you are in your walk you are welcome here. Please feel free to share prayer requests, opinions, questions or anything that you feel led to say.

Love, Day 1

What is it about LOVE?

I tried to think of a thousand other L words to go with this week. Just can't steer from the Truth. Love has it every time. It is the reason I write this devotional. It is the reason I get out of bed every day. It is the thing that keeps my heart beating and my feet moving.

We are created to need Love. We are created to need God.

In this life, no matter how we try and get it, how we conditionally give it away, it never compares to the perfect Love of God. It can never compare to his Loving sacrifice.

1 John 4:8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Heavenly Father, Praise your name today for all that you are. When I take the time to admire you majesty, I am overcome with how much you Love us. Standing between mountains and valleys, with colors more imaginative then I could even dream, Your beauty is astounding. On my run this morning Lord, my path was lit with the light from a perfect full moon. Your perfect moon that moves the oceans and creates the tides. Thank you Lord for Your perfect sense of timing in all things. Use me this week to express the power of your Love. The power that you breathed into us. Help us acknowledge our need for Your Love. Lord remind us all that through your sacrifice we are freely given your gift of grace. Through our faith Lord we may receive your Divine Love. May my mustard seed of faith be a song to you, my life a response to your amazing grace. ~In His Holy Name

Please pray for Daniell D this week.

We would like to say a special thank you to everyone that takes the time to read our daily devotions. We are in the process of updating our weekly prayer calendar. Would you take the time to respond to this post with your first name and last initial? We would love to take the time to pray for everyone that is a part of our community. We love you all very much. God Bless.
