Ephesians 6:14-18
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Kelly H: Please pray for travel mercies. She leaves for Buenos Aries on Wed. Pray for protection over her husband and three children, she will be away from them for a week.
Janell: This is the email she sent, she is going on a missions trip to work in an orphanage in Uganda with the African Children's Choir

God is moving around us, in us and through us.
Our move to Knoxville has been a roller coaster ride. It was easy to trust God in our decision to move. Then everything pilled on and instead of trusting we have been "surviving" on our own strengths.
Our finances were strained. Ted's job requires so much from him that he has been exhausted. Madi had a rough start at her new school. I let all of this overwhelm me. I miss my friends in Iowa, my family and friends in Oregon. We were struggling to find a connection in a church here. I couldn't figure out how I am suppose to make this apartment a home. What am I suppose to do with all of this time? I sat and dwelled on if we had made the right decision. I was overwhelming myself with the things I didn't have, thinking too much.
"but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her" (Luke 10:42) A simple reminder for me to "sit as the Lord's feet and listen to what he says." So, I started, baby steps, to fill myself up with God's word.
Do you remember when you first realized how great God's love is? That Joy: the amazing experience of knowing you are so precious to God that Jesus died for you. I experienced that Joy yesterday. It braught me to tears.
Over the last month God has moved in every way possible in our home.
Ted and I went to the Glory Revealed concert and decided to start reading the book by David Nasser together. WOW! Only by God's power could we have found the "time" to be in His word together.
We have found a church to call home. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for a place that challenges us to live in your Spirit.
I have found a renewed desire to reach out beyond myself and make a difference. Thank you, Jesus, for Janell.
God is so great. He has reminded me in every way that he answers prayer. He is so much greater then any struggle that is in front of us. He has already won the battle for me, I just need to enjoy his blessings.
Yesterday, God answered prayer. My friends in Christ that took a moment to speak my name in your prayers yesterday, Thank You. God took care of a major financial issue for us. Completely, He finished it.
Our God is a god of hope and love and joy. His grace is perfect.
Our apartment is now a home because the Holy Spirit is alive and moving in this place.
How awesome, thank you for the encouragement. You are amazing and your faithfulness to your family has paid off. God has greater things in store for us than we can even imagine. He is above all things.
Joanne: please pray for me to have peace of mind making my plans for my trip to tenn. pray that ethan will be taken care of and know that I have not deserted him. pray that his mother will take care of him. right now she has no place for him to be. no job and no money.

Another prayer from a friend.
Father in Heaven I pray that you would put a hedge of protection around Heather and her family right now and I pray that you would speak to heather through the Holy Spirit and guide her and direct her Father we thank you that you know what's best not only for us but our family and friends as well. Lord I ask that you let Heather know if she is the one to speak to her cousin or if it be someone else but Father we pray that you would put someone in her path Lord and speak through them to reach Nicole, Father we know that it is not your will for you children to be killed so we pray for a supernatural intervention in this matter and we pray for it in Jesus Name!
Lord I also want to pray for the medical bills for the Collvers I know that when we trust in you, you take care of us not always the way we think it should be or in the time line we want but what you do is always best. I thank you that you love and care for heather and don't want her to worry as you say in Matthew so I pray that you would have the holy spirit comfort her put her worries to rest in you, knowing you will take care of the family and bills
Father I also want to ask for healing for Heather both body and spirit, Lord I pray that you would heal her body from cold and allergy Father in your word it says that your son died on the cross for our sins and our iniquities or our sickness and I pray you would Put your healing hand on heather's body and heal her from her allergies and you healed me, I remember how miserable I use to be in the spring and summer and I thank you and praise you again for my healing and I pray you would heal Heather in the same way since you are not a respecter of persons and have no favorites and if you will do for one you will do the same for another so i pray you will help Heather to know that you made the world and you made her and you did not make her to be allergic to the world. Thank you for your healing power that you make available to you children.
I love you Lord and thank you that we can come to you and know that you will answer our prayers Thank you for all of these things in Jesus name AMEN (so be it)
